I personally coordinate all aspects of administration relating to therapy sessions for each person that I work with.
My current working hours are:
Tuesdays:
Wednesdays:
Thursdays:
Fridays:
11:00 - 18:00
11:00 - 18:00
11:00 - 18:00
11:00 - 18:00
Therapy sessions are 50 minutes in duration and are held on the same day, at the same time, on a weekly basis.
If you would like to meet with me, to see whether I would be a suitable therapist for you to work with, you are welcome to book an initial consultation session.
During this meeting you will have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of what I am like to be with, and to ask any questions that you may have, before deciding whether to proceed further.
If you are funding therapy sessions yourself, the standard fee for either an initial consultation session or a regular weekly therapy session is £150.
After each session I will send you an invoice with details of how to make a payment.
I am registered with most health insurance providers, including Aviva, AXA Health, Bupa UK, Bupa Global, Vitality, and WPA.
If you wish to cancel a session, I require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice, otherwise you will be liable for the session fee.
My preference is to meet with people in person, as I believe this affords the best therapeutic experience.
There are four exceptions to this, for which online sessions (via Zoom) may be considered instead:
In keeping with my values and the guidance of the professional bodies of which I am a member, I will never ask you to do anything that would benefit me either personally, or professionally, in any way whatsoever, other than the payment of session fees.
One direct consequence of the position I take towards my professional responsibility, is that I do not ask the people that I meet with for therapy to write testimonials. Given that doing so would be solely for my own commercial gain, I consider that such requests would constitute a ‘conflict of self-interest’, as defined by The British Psychological Society’s Code of Ethics and Conduct (BPS, 2021).
Instead, and consistent with my approach to therapy, I believe the best way for you to determine whether I might be a suitable therapist for you, is to book an initial consultation session, so that you may decide for yourself, based on your own personal experience.
